        This is part of a series of programs I use on my BBS.  Use
        one or all if you want. They work every day on my system. A
        Dos 6.22, Qemm 8.0, DV 6.3 System. Who knows? They may even
        work on your system.

        This program will ask the logon questions and will continue
        to ask until the user enteres in the correct format. It will
        accept a four digit password, but will continue to ask about
        the password until at least a six digit password is entered.

        When you want the user to Update a entery, just erase it.
        The next time the user logs on the program will asl for the
        information to be entered.


        START UP:

        Make a backup of your Max system, this will make as many
        1.44 Archives as you need. Then copy them to Disk.

        ARJ a -rv1440 C:\max\Max3.001 C:\Max -x*.??- -x*.00? -y

        I keep two sets one for even Months and one for odd Months.
        It is easy to fix Max, or any other program until it breaks.<g>


        Make a directory off Max.                 MD C:\MAX\MAXKIT
          Then                        ARJ e Maxkit25 C:\MAX\MAXKIT
          Then change directory to C:\Max\maxkit and Arj e *.*

        In your MAX.ctl
        Uncomment and change to:  Uses Configure  :maxkit\maxmnt25
          Then                                            Silt MAX


        Make this the last line in your welcome.BBS or elsewhere.
                                    [display]C:\Max\Maxkit\#Mstk01

        Or even better use the sample welcome.bbs untill you have it
        all working.
